Mostly Uninvited 769, 770 and 771

This is Tina, she was born with thalassaemia major. She needs regular transfusions to enable her to do the things that other parents take for granted; like taking her two-year old son for a swim.

Taken from a NHS leaflet about giving blood. Photographer uncredited.

This is Sarah. She was fit and healthy until she was diagnosed with aplastic anaemia in 2014. She has now had a bone marrow transplant and hopes to go on holiday.

Archie, age 10, has a rare form of anaemia. He is being kept alive by the generous act of giving blood.
