Nused 1, April 2018

Hand-stitched collage, using found newspapers and my nana’s thread.

44cms x 19cms.

The book-jacket comes from The Blue Book Of Saints’ Stories. Retold by Christine Chaundler. Published in 1952 by A. R. Mowbray & Co. Limited, 28 Margaret Street, London. This impression, 1964. Printed in Oxford.

I worked for Mowbray’s Bookshop in the 1980s. It was a lovely job. It’s a large bra shop now. Scroll down to see my old payslip and credits.
